A sound walk that traces the east side of Roosevelt Island. Start anywhere on the Roosevelt Island Greenway, just make sure you can see the water.

This is a collage of myself and my two friends reading the poem Love Story by Gregory Spears and Tracy K. Smith. I was inspired to create this collage after seeing this poem sung over Julius Eastman's Symphony No. II at the New York Philharmonic. This symphony traced the rise and fall of a romantic relationship. Though music crescendoed beautifully, it seemed to fall apart under the singer at the end. This project was created for my Digital Sound Workshop.
